Among NENCOL's main corporate policies are Procurement, Human Resources, Asset Management and Integrated Environment and Safety Policies, in order to guarantee the correct procedures and equal opportunities for NENCOL's suppliers and employees.

NENCOL also has a Compliance Policy and a Code of Conduct, established in 2010.

As a subsidiary of a US corporation, NENCOL businesses in Colombia fall under the scope of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of the United States, which prohibits bribery of public officials and establishes important criminal and civil penalties for violations of this prohibition by US companies operating or doing business outside US borders. The FCPA also requires NENCOL , to ensure that its foreign subsidiaries keep accurate records and adopt the necessary internal controls to prevent inappropriate and unauthorized payments.
